Main tasks of the Scientific Centre of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Vienna are the promotion of Polish sciences in Austria and the support their further development. Moreover it helps in establishing cooperation projects between Polish and Austrian research institutions by organizing scientific and popular lectures, exhibitions, conferences and symposia with the participation of scientists from Poland, Austria and other countries, from the humanities over natural sciences to medicine and technology.

Young Researchers in Vienna - Third edition
The Polish Academy of Sciences - The Science Centre in Vienna announces a call for three short-term research stays in Vienna for 2026. This initiative offers PhD students from Doctoral Schools of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAS) an opportunity to present their research results to an international scientific audience in Vienna. The winners will be selected based on submitted applications.
This program is open to doctoral students representing all fields of science within the Doctoral Schools of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
